About The Teacher

Jessica has been playing and studying the cello from a young age. She previously attended
Temple University, Moravian University (B.M.E.) and Messiah University. (M.M. in Orchestral
Conducting) where she performed (often as principal cellist) in many types of symphony
orchestras, chamber ensembles, pop string quartets, and musicals. She has also taught high
school and middle school orchestra, and maintained a private studio for many years.

In her free time, she enjoys video games, attending concerts, and creating art and music.

Messiah University – Master’s: Music in Orchestral Conducting 
Moravian University – Bachelor’s: Music Education

Jessica was the winner of the 2010 student concerto competition at Moravian University and 2014
recipient of the PADESTA “Outstanding New String Teacher” award.

She has guest conducted the LLMEA Middle School County Orchestra Festival and the Central Dauphin Honors Orchestra Festival.
