About The Teacher
Hello! My name is Michael, a classically trained pianist with a Master’s in piano performance from University of Maryland. After graduating, I’ve taken more of an interest in arranging popular songs, as well as working on improvisation, and compositions.
My teaching style is very flexible to your goals. If you are thinking about undergraduate auditions, I can help make sure you are well prepared, know what to expect, and perform a diverse repertoire at a high level. If you are just starting out, or have a certain style of playing or genre you want to explore, I can focus the lessons on the area of your choice, while improving your musicianship, and pianistic ability.
