Sarah is a professional singer/actor with a passion for teaching. She previously worked as a teaching artist for the Disney Musicals in Schools program, and for The Rose Theater, specializing in musical theatre productions for young performers.

Teaching specialties include audition prep, healthy belt technique, and acting the song. Sarah holds a B.A. in Music from Smith College, an M.A. in Musical Theater from New York University and a D.M.A. in Vocal Performance from the University of Minnesota.

As a teacher, Sarah engages each individual student to excel by focusing on the student’s unique attributes and identifying their points of power and points in need of strengthening. She is emphatic about creating a positive and supportive environment in lessons, as it is of utmost importance to her that students feel free to experiment and play.
