Dave astro
Guitar and Ukelele: All Levels
Dave Astro is a guitarist, composer, and instructor based in Los Angeles, CA, and Bern Switzerland. He is widely known for his work with musical agencies and his fusion group under his own name.
He has shared the stage with such artists as Jeff Hamilton, Bob Reynolds and Bob Mintzer. As an independent recording artist, Dave has released the singles “Yosemite”,“Errands” and most recently, the single “Future Messiah”.
Dave has received his master’s degree in Studio Guitar at USC’s Thornton School of Music where he studied with such great artists as Paul Jackson Jr. Frank Potenza and Bruce Forman.

Jianchu Ma
Guitar and Ukulele: All Levels
Jianchu is a rock n roll guitar player/vocalist originally from Beijing, China. As Co-founder of Beijing grunge band 病山羊 (2014) and desert/psychedelic rock band Wiido-PA (2017), he continually expands in sound. Besides his own
projects, Jianchu had worked with acts such as 馬文 (Marvin Lorenzo) on his debut album produced by Taiwan Rock Records, Joyside during their reunion etc. In 2019, Ma Jianchu decided going back to finish Berklee in Boston, and later that year started duo Cig&Bee.
Adam Moezinia
Guitar: All Levels
Guitarist Adam Moezinia is a native of Los Angeles, where he studied at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) under the mentorship of Jason Goldman, Walter Smith III, and Kenny Dennis. In 2010, he moved to New York City to study at The Juilliard School. Since then, he’s worked with many greats such as Freddy Cole, Mike LeDonne, Cecile Mclorin Salvant, George Coleman and Kenny Washington at venues like Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Blue Note, Birdland, Smoke, Scullers and Bird’s Basement. Adam has also been performing regularly with his band the “Folk Element” trio since 2017. The trio is rooted in the jazz tradition but is influenced by folk music from all over the world including West Africa, South Africa, the Caribbean, the UK and Appalachia. As of April 2021, they officially released their debut album “Folk Element Trio” available on all major platforms! Moving forward, they will continue to explore the unique relationship between jazz and folk music, sharing those discoveries with audiences across the globe.
In addition to performing, Adam has also taught guitar/music for over 15 years. He has consistently taught private lessons since the age of 13 as well as being involved in different teaching programs across the country with organizations like The Herbie Hancock Institute (Formerly the Thelonious Monk Institute), NJPAC, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Juilliard School and as many others. This continues to be a passion of his in addition to performing.
